Permanent Protection of Wishon Reservoir Planning Unit (Lands to be retained by PG&E) with a Conservation Easement
On November 15, 2017 a conservation easement was recorded to protect the Beneficial Public Values of 1,190 acres to be retained by PG&E at the Wishon Reservoir planning unit. The conservation easement is held by the Sierra Foothill Conservancy.

Final Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan - Lands to be retained by PG&E at Wishon Reservoir

At its June 16, 2016 meeting, the board adopted the final Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan for lands to be retained by PG&E at the Wishon Reservoir planning unit in Fresno County, California.
​
The Wishon Reservoir Retained LCCP describes how the proposed transactions and related agreements conform to and fulfill all requirements of the 2003 Settlement Agreement and Stipulation.
​
The Draft LCCP was made available for a public review and comment period from March 24, 2016 to April 22, 2016.

Land Transfer to the USFS at Wishon Reservoir
The donation of 167 acres at the Wishon Reservoir planning unit to the United States Forest Service and the establishment of a conservation covenant held by the Sierra Nevada Conservancy were finalized on July 12, 2016.

Final Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan Adoption - Lands to be donated to USFS at Wishon Reservoir
At its September 10, 2014 meeting, the board adopted the Wishon Reservoir Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan for the Wishon Reservoir planning unit located in Fresno County, California.

The Wishon Reservoir LCCP describes how the proposed transactions and related agreements conform to and fulfill all requirements of the 2003 Settlement Agreement and Stipulation.

The draft LCCP was made available for public review and comment for a 30-day period from June 9, 2014 to July 9, 2014.

Recommendations
At its September 16, 2010 meeting, the board recommended the United States Forest Service as the prospective fee title donee for 167 acres of land in the Wishon Reservoir planning unit.
​
At its March 30, 2011 meeting, the board recommended the Sierra Foothills Conservancy as the prospective conservation easement holder on all the lands in the planning unit to be retained by PG&E.
​
Public Information Meeting
The primary purpose of this meeting was to solicit public input on the development of the Land Conservation and Conveyance Plans (LCCP) to preserve and enhance the beneficial public values.
